The Camden Invitational Regatta is a two race series sponsored by the Camden Yacht Club and GMORA. These races are expertly run with paid professional race officials. Why not come and enjoy some great racing and enjoy Camden harbor and beautiful Camden village?
Prizes will be awarded to the top three boats in each division. A gathering will take place at the Camden Yacht Club Saturday evening after the race debrief for all skippers and crew members. It is a BYO event with hot grills provided by the Club. Snacks and refreshments will also be available on Sunday afternoon as part of the awards ceremony.
All CYC handicap racing is conducted is conducted under the handicap ratings of PHRF NE. To obtain a certificate go to GMORA.org (Gulf of Maine Ocean Racing Association), join and fill out the rating form. If you wish to race but do not have a current rating certificate, the Race Committee may at its sole discretion assign a rating to your boat. Repeated efforts to race without a current valid certificate may result in an increased rating penalty assigned by the Race Committee.
