Camden Yacht Club is seeking an experienced and dependable Dockmaster to manage waterfront operations for the club and its 280+ members. This is a salaried, seasonal position, with competitive pay and year-end bonus. In addition to operating the club’s launch, the Dockmaster oversees the recruiting, hiring and scheduling of additional launch drivers, manages mooring and float rentals, coordinates dingy slots for club members, and assists with races and other waterfront events. Employment consists of 26 weeks, normally including 24 weeks from May 1 to Oct 15, and 2 weeks/80 hours off-season for scheduling, hiring, and administrative work. During the period from mid-June to Labor Day, a time commitment of not less than forty hours per five/six-day work week is anticipated. All CYC staff need to be resilient, objective, cooperative, flexible, pleasant, and polite. Above all, the safety of all individuals on Camden Yacht Club grounds is essential.

CAYSP is looking for US Sailing Small Boat Instructors Level 2 or higher with prior teaching and racing experience to teach optimist and 420 racing.
Desired skills and experience include:
First-year instructors with US Sailing Level 1 certification prior to June 2021 will be considered.

CAYSP is looking for one or two instructors to develop and teach a series of Land & Sea Adventure day courses throughout the summer months in and around the Camden area. Expectation of this program is to offer 4 to 6, one week courses between July 1 and Sept each summer.

Camden Yacht Club is seeking launch drivers for the 2021 season. Applicants must be at least 18 years old with current USCG Limited Masters License and First Aid/CPR certification. This is a seasonal position with competitive pay and a year-end bonus. Full-time or part-time availability is acceptable. Our season typically runs from late May through early October. All CYC staff need to be resilient, objective, cooperative, flexible, pleasant, and polite. Above all, the safety of all individuals on Camden Yacht Club grounds is essential.

Camden Yacht Club is looking for two friendly and responsible hosts to share the management of lunch shifts Monday through Saturday during the summer season. Prior work experience and driving ability is required. Training will be provided.

Camden Yacht Club is looking for a few friendly and dependable “runners” to help serve lunch to our club members Monday through Saturday during the summer season. Servers may choose between three and six shifts per week, and work hours generally span from 10am to 3pm.
